The St Leger Arms, Country Pub and Restaurant, can be found in the distinctive and appealing rural village of Laughton-en-le-Morthen. The pub is centrally situated in the village, a popular haunt of ramblers and country lovers, dominated by the parish church with its 14th century spire - 185 feet tall. All Saints Church was built around 1377 incorporating much of the Norman building that preceded it.
The village school, built around 1620, among the oldest in the country and mentioned in the Domesday Book.
