The first story “The Club Trip” has been reproduced from a series of short stories by Barnsley’s Mary Lipscombe.  We are very lucky to get this one because all of her stories are heading for publication.  Having had a sneak preview at a few of them it looks like she’ll be onto a winner. Watch out also for news about Mary’s own Barnsley Family website.

“The Charabanc Trip” by Ivor Biggun has a similar theme - but Ivor’s stories tend to be a little near the knuckle..
